My Ideal Client

What brought you to this place, at this time? Was it an event culminating in a sense of loss and grief, or anger and resentment? The impact of the collective global trauma? Relational wounding? Are you unsure about what step to take next as a parent or partner? Whatever your reason, you are welcome here. With curiosity, let’s explore your wants, needs and limits. Let’s increase your capacity to communicate these things effectively, and expand your appreciation for your life, loved ones, yourself.

My Approach to Helping

As a licensed Somatic Psychotherapist in both California and Oregon and I embody care, concern, curiosity and connection. My approach is trauma-informed, mystical, and grounded in evidence-based practices. My style is holistic, humanistic and humorous. My hypothesis is that when we stay curious and trust that we have the capacity to feel our feelings versus resisting them, we can more comfortably navigate a broad spectrum of mental and emotional landscapes, and come back into connection with ourselves. When weather permits, I conduct hike-o-therapy sessions in Portland parks and forests.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I condone awe walks, questioning ideas about personal limits or capacities, dancing, meditation, forest baths and solitude as avenues to reconnect with ourselves. I am a parent, an LGBTQAI2S+ ally, am sex/kink positive, I welcome neurodivergence, and people from all backgrounds and ethnicities. I am a licensed Psilocybin Assisted Therapy facilitator and trainer. What you put in your body for medicine or recreation is your choice. If your relationship to substances is making things worse, or are causing harm, and you want to your relationship to them, you’re in the right place. I look forward to discovering supportive resources, materials and practices to help make things better for you. Included in my training and experience are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Astrology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectcial Behavioral Therapy, Harm Reduction, Hakomi, Intuitive Training, Executive Leadership Training, Reiki I and II with Humans and Horses, and teaching English in Japan.
