My Ideal Client

I work with adults, couples, and teens navigating relational trauma, neurodivergence, and identity-related stress. Many of my clients are unique, deep thinkers who feel stuck or overwhelmed and want a collaborative, active space to explore change and transformation. As a supervisor, I specialize in supporting early-career professionals, caregivers, and those managing complex family dynamics. If you're seeking real insight and real tools—with warmth and clarity—I’d be honored to work with you.

My Approach to Helping

My clinical approach is collaborative, integrative, and grounded in relational neuroscience, justice, and posttraumatic growth. I draw from psychodynamic, feminist, and systems-informed models, tailoring the work to your unique needs and goals. Sessions are active and insight-driven, with a focus on connection, clarity, and sustainable change. I work best with clients ready to explore patterns, deepen self-trust, and engage in meaningful, values-based transformation.

Our Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that effective clinical care is rooted in humility, responsiveness, and a deep respect for each client’s lived experience. I value multicultural awareness, acknowledge systemic harm, and approach every person with curiosity rather than assumptions. My work is guided by a commitment to justice, integrity, and relational accountability. I strive to create a space where complexity is welcomed and where healing is tied to both personal and collective liberation. As a supervisor, I'm also very concerned with the state of the profession and take an active role in advocating for issues that affect both our clients and communities, and also the field of Professional Counseling.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Abuse External link

I have extensive training and education experience in the field of abuse recovery. Though I am not personally a survivor of abuse, it runs in my family intergenerationally. In addition, I've served in DV/SA clinical settings, participated on nonprofit boards, and participated in multicontextual legislation for improved recovery.

  • ADHD External link

Neurodivergence runs through my family, and I've witnessed first hand the challenges of trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Let's work toward multicontextual solutions for these challenges at all levels.

  • Compassion Fatigue External link

As a clinical supervisor, issues like burnout, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma run pervasive in the lives of clinicians I serve. Often, the solutions to these challenges are systemic. Let's collaborate on a path toward reengagement, connection, and resilience together.

  • Cultural and Systemic Oppression External link

Issues related to cultural and systemic oppression inform all aspects of my work as a clinician, supervisor, and counselor educator. For me, it's impossible to talk about what's going on for an individual without exploring what's occurring in their systems. Anti-oppression action toward justice is usually multicontextual, and I approach these issues as a learner, collaborator, and advocate.

  • Relationship / Marriage Issues External link

I provide immersive, exploratory guidance to people in relationships from a judgment-free, compassionate, and hopeful lens.
