I am passionate about working with teens, adults, and the LGBTQIA+ community. I would love to help you to build skills to cope with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and other mental health struggles while creating collective goals for moving forward and developing a deeper connection to yourself and your purpose.
Specialties
I am certified in EMDR and EMDR Flash. I use this modality from a trauma-informed lens and believe in being cautious and creating a safe container before utilizing EMDR processing.
I really enjoy using "parts" point of view in the therapeutic space. I find that getting to know your parts and how they show up can be a doorway to healing.
I use theories from CBT to inform my work with clients when appropriate, but also enjoying meeting you where you are and adapting therapy to meet your needs.
Specialties
As a queer community member, it is my joy and calling to support LGBTQIA+ members. We experience unique trauma because of our identities and I can bring compassion and understanding with this unique lens. I have also taken many courses in queer theory and supporting folks from this perspective.
Women experience the world differently. I bring the lived experience to approach these issues through a feminist, trans-inclusive lens.
I am passionate about supporting caregiver and other therapists, teachers, and people who give to others for their career. I have taken courses on vicarious trauma and caregiving.
I enjoy supporting people in gender identity exploration from a lived experience and queer perspective. I offer letter writing services for trans-affirming care.
