My Ideal Client

You will be supported you as you process your past, heal emotional wounds, deepen self-awareness, grow in relationships, craft your future, claim your power, find your truth, embrace peace, and discover what it means to truly thrive. As a client, you are committed to the process and willing to persevere with courage and curiosity through the uncomfortable and rewarding phases of the psychotherapy journey.

My Approach to Helping

My counseling style is grounded in a person-centered approach through a humanistic lens. It is trauma informed, integrative, holistic, intuitive, sprinkled with humor, and infused with authenticity. I specialize in addressing self-esteem, managing symptoms of bipolar disorder, healing acute and complex PTSD, and recovering from narcissistic abuse. I am trained in EMDR therapy, which is an incredibly effective approach to relieve acute and complex trauma and so much more. It's always an honor to bear witness to the profound healing that transpires through this remarkable, and relatively rapid, method of treatment. Additional issues: anxiety, attachment issues, bipolar disorder, boundaries, career changes, codependency, communication, depression, divorce/separation, domestic/relationship abuse, existential concerns, gender expression and identity, gender transition, infidelity, life changes, relationships, self-discovery, self-esteem, sexuality, spirituality, and more.

Why I Became a Therapist

After 20 years in the marketing design and fine art fields; I realized that I've been led toward the mental health field throughout my life. In my mid 40's, I pursued a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. After graduating in 2020, I opened a private practice and contracted with several counseling groups in the Denver metro area for four years. In 2024, I became dual licensed (LPC) to serve clients in Colorado and Oregon. I've relocated to the Portland Metro area—where I was born and raised—to live close to my family again. It's wonderful to be back home!
