My Background and Approach

I am a psychotherapist who holds a Master's Degree in Risk & Prevention (Mental Health Counseling) from Harvard University. I have worked with young children and families in hospital, clinic, school, and community mental health settings. My theoretical orientation is primarily psychodynamic and attachment-based, though I also integrate mindfulness strategies into my work. I have specialized training in nondirective play therapy, collaborative problem solving, internal family systems therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy with preadolescent children and adults. I specialize in working with families of young children on a range of issues including anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and parenting challenges.
