My Ideal Client

I work best with adults who feel overwhelmed, scattered, or stuck— whether you're navigating Anxiety, ADHD, OCD, BFRBs (Skin Picking & Hair Pulling), Insomnia, or all of the above. My clients are often deep thinkers with busy minds, big feelings, and a desire for change that feels doable and real. We focus on building practical tools, self-understanding, and a relationship with your brain that’s rooted in compassion, not criticism.

My Approach to Helping

I am committed to creating a collaborative space in which you and I can work together to cultivate change. My approach is informed by my values and qualities of empathy, authenticity, openness, and social justice. I believe in gently challenging, pushing you outside of your comfort zone while focusing on and acknowledging your sources of strength and resiliency. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into much of my work, where we will focus on changing maladaptive behaviors and disengaging from negative thought patterns.

Why I am a Good Fit for You

I became a therapist because I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, and unsure how to move forward. As someone who identifies as neurodiverse, I bring not only clinical training, but lived experience to the work I do. My practice is rooted in authenticity, compassion, and a belief in the power of small, meaningful change. I specialize in working with adults navigating ADHD, Anxiety, OCD, Insomnia, BFRBs, and the heavy self-criticism that often comes with them. I use evidence-based therapies like CBT, ACT, and ERP, and I balance those tools with warmth, curiosity, and respect for your unique experience. I care deeply about creating a space where all parts of you are welcome—including the messy, scared, or uncertain ones. Whether you're seeking clarity, healing, or simply space to breathe, I'm here to walk with you, not ahead of you.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) External link

With Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, we learn to accept the experience of our thoughts and feelings, rather than attempting to avoid or control them. We also set out on a path of self-discovery, uncovering our values and what truly matters to us. ACT teaches us to let that awareness guide us, so we can pursue a life filled with meaning and fulfillment.

  • Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) External link

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is the gold standard approach for treating anxiety, depression, and insomnia. If any of these concerns are interfering with your peace during the day or keeping you up at night, I hope it gives you hope to know there’s a path forward and that change is possible.

  • Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy External link

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is an evidence-based therapy for anxiety disorders like OCD, social anxiety, panic, and phobias. Anxiety can be so intense that we start to believe the story it’s telling us—or avoid the very things we care about most. ERP helps us interrupt those patterns and gently face our fears, so life can start expanding again.

  • Humanistic  External link

At the forefront of my work, I am human. While I’m passionate about behavioral techniques, they come second to our shared humanity. My goal is to create a space where you can come exactly as you are: your thoughts, your emotions, your story. I’ve been told I bring warmth and compassion into the room, and I do my best to lead with those qualities every time we meet.

  • Motivational Interviewing External link

Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative approach that helps you explore your own reasons for change, without pressure or judgment. I’ll hold space for ambivalence, honoring the part of you that wants something different and the part that’s still unsure. Together, we’ll clarify what matters to you and gently move toward action that feels aligned and doable.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • ADHD External link

Life with ADHD can feel like a constant game of catch-up: racing thoughts, lost keys, piles of laundry, unfinished tasks, and that endless inner voice saying, “Why can’t I just...?” I work with adults navigating the overwhelm, shame, and unique strengths that come with neurodivergence. Together, we’ll build understanding, structure, and self-compassion, without trying to “fix” who you are.

  • Anxiety External link

When your mind won’t slow down, when worry runs the show, when you’re exhausted from overthinking everything, you’re not alone. Anxiety can feel all-consuming, but it doesn’t have to control your life. We’ll work together to help you reconnect with the present, loosen anxiety’s grip, and build a life that feels spacious, steady, and aligned with what matters to you.

  • OCD External link

OCD can be a lonely, exhausting loop; obsessions you don’t want, compulsions you feel you can’t resist, and a cycle that steals your time, energy, and confidence. You may wonder if anyone really gets it. I do. Together, we’ll use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help you face the fear, break the patterns, and reclaim your freedom.

  • Insomnia External link

If falling asleep feels like a battle and staying asleep feels impossible, you know how much poor rest takes from you, emotionally, mentally, physically. Insomnia isn’t just about sleep; it’s about reclaiming your peace. With evidence-based tools like CBT-I, we’ll quiet the spiral, rebuild trust with your body, and help you find rest again, without relying on quick fixes.

  • Personal Growth External link

Therapy isn’t just for crises, it’s also for those moments when something deeper is calling you forward. You may not be falling apart, but you want more: more clarity, more peace, more purpose. I’ll help you explore your identity, values, and the stories you carry, so you can move through the world with more intention, direction, and trust in yourself.
