My Ideal Client

I work with individuals of all ages, from pre-teens to adults, who are navigating various challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, disordered eating, and life transitions. My clients come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, and I tailor my approach to fit their unique needs. Whether seeking personal growth, emotional support, or skills to manage everyday challenges, I’m here to help them find practical solutions and gain a deeper understanding of themselves.

My Approach to Helping

My approach to counseling is rooted in understanding how early relationships shape current emotional patterns. I use object relations theory to help clients gain insight into their behaviors and relationships. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge unhelpful thoughts and build healthier coping skills. Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) helps clients process emotions, especially those tied to past trauma, in a safe and nurturing space. I also draw from Family Systems Theory to address how family dynamics influence emotional well-being. Therapy is a collaborative process, where we set personalized goals and strategies. My goal is to empower clients to make lasting changes, build emotional resilience, and approach life with greater self-awareness and confidence.

Why We are a Good Fit for You

Creating a safe, welcoming environment where you feel heard and respected is my priority. I am committed to moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you, ensuring that we take the time needed to establish a strong foundation of trust. I truly believe that therapy works best when it's a collaborative process, where we partner together to identify your unique goals and develop an approach that fits your needs. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, family issues, or significant life transitions, I aim to offer both practical tools and emotional support to help you feel more empowered and in control. My approach is one of mutual respect and open communication, where you are an active participant in your healing journey. I am here to walk alongside you, offering guidance and encouragement as we work together to create meaningful change and help you move forward with confidence and clarity.

  • Self-Harming External link

I work with individuals struggling with self-harm to understand the underlying emotions and triggers that contribute to these behaviors. My approach focuses on building healthier coping strategies, increasing emotional awareness, and fostering self-compassion. Through a supportive and non-judgmental space, we explore alternatives to self-harm and work toward creating a balanced, more positive way to manage difficult feelings.
