My Ideal Client

Maybe you feel lost, isolated or a prisoner in your own head. Maybe you feel like an outsider. You have dug yourself into a habit or addiction that you can't seem to pull yourself out of. A part of you may feel hopeless for real change while another part of you wonders about what healing would feel like. I believe that many of our wounds are relational and thus can be healed through on.

How I Can Help You

I provide culturally-informed trauma and addiction services to adults and teens (15+) in Oregon and Washington. I offer IFS informed EMDR, psychedelic integration, and somatic focused mindfulness to help you calm your mind and reconnect to your body. I also specialize in addiction counseling so we can address coping mechanisms that no longer serve you as we get to know each other.

Why I am a Good Fit for You

I am one of the few mixed race pacific island counselors and am passionate about helping marginalized communities and allies. I have years of experience working with veterans, mental health clinicians, teens in crisis, and families who have been affected by addiction. I value the importance of connecting with nature and am happy to meet you at a local park for our sessions.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • PTSD External link

I am EMDRIA approved EMDR level I trained. I have experience working with individuals who have suffered from child physical, emotional and sexual abuse, child incest survivors and veterans. Drawing from years of experience working as a supervisor at a crisis line, I also work well with first responders who have experienced substantial vicarious trauma.

  • Racial Identity External link

"What are you?" was a question I quickly became accustomed to growing up in the Pacific Northwest. With roots in Chamoru, Irish and Armenian heritage, there is no clean box for me to check. This question has been a lifelong journey in understanding who I am in the context of others, and more importantly how I define myself. I hope to work with others who are embarking on their own cultural journey and are seeking deeper answers to questions about themselves.

  • Drug Dependence / Abuse / Addiction External link

My graduate degree is specialized in addiction studies and I am currently in the process of applying for my CADC. I use motivational interviewing to help insight change and work from a harm reduction model to help you create compassionate goals for yourself. I have experience working with individuals and family members who have suffered from porn, internet, alcohol, cocaine, and cannabis addiction/abuse/dependence.
