My Ideal Client

Are you looking for a space where you can express and explore who you are beyond words and feelings? Have you experienced something that still troubles you today? Or have you fallen out of rhythm with your self, and your relationships? I work with clients to assist in integrating past and present events, conflicts, adversities, and states of being. Working from a holistic framework that views each client as a whole being, and not separate from their mind, body, emotions, or soul.

My Background and Approach

I hold a MA in Counseling with a specialization in addictions treatment. I am a certified drug and alcohol counselor, and I have been working within mental health for the last 15 years. I began working as a wilderness & leadership guide for youth and have worked in many different roles and areas of the western mental health system. This experience has given me a healthy amount of clinical experience in working with various people and their families amidst unexpected conflict, grief, and chaos that life can hold. I believe each person is a unique ecology, but we all share a desire to connect with our experience of ourselves, others, and the world in a holistic and meaningful way. Integration is a key process of health. My modalities include using mindfulness exercises, somatic narrative, somatic experiencing, breath work, and relationship-focused dialogue to bring balance and acceptance with what is while creating practice and rituals to create change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

What makes me unique is being a certified movement coach and trainer for the last 10 years and have actively pursued continuing education in somatic depth-psychology to mature my personal practice and understanding of wholeness and balance somatically. Our bodies intelligence is often an unacknowledged resource that a person can tune into to seek insight, expression, release, and healing. Braiding from my experience working in mental health, certified movement coach, and living the hardships of a life changing injury I have created a practice and offering with the aim of supporting clients collaboratively. Authentically receiving, and listening to those I work with, and proactively moving the individual and the collective towards a practice that can create change and wholeness.
