My Approach to Helping
I believe in a holistic, body-mind approach to healing. My work integrates EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), mindfulness, and somatic therapy to help clients process trauma, shift negative thought patterns, and reconnect with themselves. Many of the people I work with carry unresolved pain in both their minds and bodies, and I guide them in releasing stored trauma in a way that fosters long-term healing.
Using somatic awareness and mindfulness techniques, I help clients develop a deeper connection to their emotions and nervous system. EMDR and CPT provide structured ways to reprocess painful experiences and reframe limiting beliefs. My approach is gentle but transformative, helping clients feel safe while exploring the deeper layers of their struggles. My goal is to empower each person to move through life transitions with resilience, clarity, and a renewed sense of self.
Social Justice Issues I Care About
I am deeply committed to mental health accessibility, trauma-informed care, and social equity. I work to create a welcoming, affirming space for all individuals, including LGBTQ2A+ communities, BIPOC individuals, and those impacted by systemic oppression. My approach to therapy acknowledges the ways that social and cultural factors shape mental health, and I strive to provide culturally responsive, identity-affirming care.
I believe in the mind-body connection as a tool for empowerment and in helping clients reclaim ownership over their healing process. Whether working through intergenerational trauma, societal stressors, or personal identity struggles, I encourage clients to find strength in their story. Through my work, I advocate for self-determination, healing, and emotional resilience.
