My Ideal Client

My ideal client is someone in a relationship with a romantic partner, family member or loved one who is wanting to rewire their normal communication patterns in an efficient and evidence based way with the goal of having happier relationships.

My Approach to Helping

I practice emotionally focused therapy. We focus on cultivating emotional intimacy, not on deciding who is right or wrong or “fixing” someone or a challenge. Basically we run communication drills in session to rewire how we connect with the people that we love that leads to eveyrone feeling more connected and satisfied in their relationships.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I’m a mom, democratic socialist, animal lover, and believer in political engagement to improve our world. I offer emotionally focused couples and family therapy. I have training and specialization in themes related to indigenous culture, houselessness, suicide prevention, DID and the plural community, racial equity, and abuse prevention.
