My Ideal Client

I am passionate to work with individual adults who are in a place to explore deeply within themselves, raise awareness, and make important personal changes to increase mental and emotional wellness. I thrive as a therapist to work with individual adults who are neurodivergent, struggle with anxiety, experience stressful life transitions, relational issues, childhood trauma causing present day obstacles, exploring sobriety, and women needing support with perimenopause/menopause symptoms.

My Approach to Helping

I approach therapy from a organic place of transparency, creativity, and compassionate engagement. I specialize in working with behavioral and relational issues and feel passionate to work with adult individuals. I view the healing journey as unique, integrating psychodynamic therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of each client I work with.

My Values as a Therapist

I value the relationship between the therapist and client as one of the most fundamental aspects of the therapy process. I value the process to evolve from building a strong rapport and allowing the work we do together to develop from an organic place of personal discovery and wisdom within you. I value the work of creating self-compassion to honor the wounded parts of yourself from a tender place when life gets too overwhelming. I value showing up my most authentic self with compassion, empathy, humor, and in a directive way to help you meet your therapeutic goals. I value providing affirming care for anyone seeking counseling regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or religious views.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) External link

Key concepts of ACT will help you to expand your awareness to discover what you value, practice being in the present moment, step back and detach from your difficult thinking habits, accept what's happening inside by opening up and give space to emotional experiences, learn to live by what is important and meaningful to you and commit to doing what it takes to live a vital life.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Anxiety External link

I will help you actively developing healthy coping strategies and acknowledging the benefits of staying present, confronting challenging thoughts and emotions, honoring your core values, making positive choices, and actively working towards your goals, you can take the first steps towards a more fulfilling and purpose-driven life.

  • Relationship / Marriage Issues External link

I will assist you in cultivating a sense of belonging both within and beyond our sessions, enabling you to nurture healthy relationships in your life. A firm relational bond between therapist and client can serve as a blueprint outside of therapy, supporting self-realization, growth, and constructive change. Together, we will address your relational concerns, establish healthy boundaries, and enhance your capacity to form and uphold gratifying, enduring relationships.

  • PTSD External link

I will work with you to connect to unresolved burdened parts of yourself to help you regain a sense of control. Together, we’ll identify, engage, and establish new internal relationships with those parts of yourself, freeing you from living in the past. Unburdening these stuck parts leads to a powerful transformation, building trust to tackle trauma triggers, heal wounds, and find a sense of wholeness so you can confidently move forward in your life.
