My Approach to Helping
I believe that every person holds the map to their own healing. Within the therapeutic relationship, I support my clients in re-connecting with their inherent wisdom and the tools needed to further liberate it. To do this work, I like to move slowly to build trust and forge a relationship that feels solid yet flexible. This relationship building occurs through curiosity, patience, and embodiment. In this space, it is then possible to foster comfort in vulnerable exploration and to cultivate mindfulness of one's patterns and constrictions, one's desires for growth, and all the various parts of the self that are waiting to be seen and loved again. Using this mindfulness practice as an anchor, we can begin to explore trauma and process it gradually and intentionally over time.
