My Ideal Client

Often we have pasts that manifest into symptoms ranging from mild to severe depression, anxiety, negative self-talk, anger issues, and trouble with overall self-acceptance that blocks joy from your life. No one deserves to live a life where they only feel slightly fulfilled or partially understood. If you feel like you are unable to be your authentic self in all aspects of your life; find a space where you can tell your truths. You owe it to yourself.

How I Can Help You

My goal is to help any women struggling with confidence issues to get in touch with their authentic selves. If you have issues from your past (ie. trauma, abuse, neglect, lack of support system, etc) causing low confidence, it can contribute to symptoms such as depression and anxiety later in life, creating a cycle that feeds insecurity and can cause more disconnect from your inner-self. Let me help you reconnect. I also have extensive training in ADHD. I love to help people understand how ADHD may have contributed unknowingly to trauma growing up and how it has potentially shaped who they are today. Recognizing these impacts can help one heal from a lifetime of shame and self-confidence issues beyond their control and start to recognize how they can harness their strengths while letting go of trying to control things they cannot. I have seen great change come from this work, and people come out of great depression because of it.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone is capable of change. There is no single right or wrong in my world. Everyone gets to decide what is best for them. I think every individual is unique, and I want to honor the therapy process that works for them. I am open to creativity in growth, and I believe it is important to pull from an individual's culture, interests, hobbies, even fears in the growth process as they get in touch with themselves. I believe that mindfulness, meditation, yoga, breathing exercises are beneficial in this journey of reconnection, self-exploration, and learning to love one's self. I also tend to think out of the box when it comes to applying evidence-based practices in therapy. However, I am also aware that sometimes all one needs is an ear to listen to them, and we can keep our sessions simple, too, if that is preferred. No problem at all. I will meet you where you are and collaborate with you. I really love my job and look forward to working with you!
