My Ideal Client

I work with a lot of people who have depression, anxiety, and PTSD, but one that is often forgotten that many people struggle with is ADHD. I work with people with ADHD or other mental health disorders to help create a sense of balance and belongingness within their lives. It can be really difficult managing symptoms, so my goal is to help reduce symptoms while also allowing a safe place you can express yourself free from judgement.

What I Specialize In

While I work with people with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health disorders, I really like to help people with ADHD. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder isn't just disorganized thoughts, but it can also be detrimental to your mental well-being due to negative thoughts. I use CBT for depression, anxiety, as well as ADHD. CBT for ADHD focuses on 3 major areas: organization, distractibility, and emotional well-being. Organization is focused on skill building to help create a sense of order throughout the chaos. Distractibility is focused on reducing the distractions you may encounter throughout your day to day life. The emotional well-being component focuses on the negative and automatic thoughts you may have. Just because you have ADHD does not mean you do not have depressive thoughts or opinions about yourself. I work at helping recognize those thoughts and change them into more realistic and helpful thoughts about yourself!
