My Approach to Helping

Sarah sees the world for all its depth, systems, and complexities with a passion for deep thinkers and self actualizers; Those who contemplate life’s big questions: who am I? What do I want? What is my purpose here? Why did I have to go through that and what does it mean? Together you will explore yourself and your values, and any barriers that prevent you from creating the life you want to live. Beyond exploring individual change, she has a background in child welfare, adoption, and foster, working with children and families along every spectrum. As an adoptee herself, she has a special passion for navigating the lifelong adoptee journey in areas of healing, identity, grief, and areas where one may feel particularly stuck or want to make sense of their story.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Sarah believes in matching therapy modalities to each client on an individual basis, and the importance of evidence-based treatment, but especially enjoys Attachment-Focused, Jungian, Psychodynamic, Narrative, and Existential therapy. These approaches allow her and her clients to uncover the underlying patterns and meanings in their lives, fostering deep understanding and facilitating transformative change.
