My Ideal Client

Feeling overwhelmed by change? Struggling to navigate uncertainty, new responsibilities, or emotional challenges? Are you finding it difficult to balance your sense of self with the pressures of growing up, managing anxiety, or dealing with body image concerns and self-esteem? Whether you're facing a specific challenge or just feeling lost in the midst of life's transitions, I am here to support you.

My Background

I have experience working with teens and young adults navigating life transitions, developing adult responsibilities, managing anxiety, body image concerns, self-esteem, and coping with grief and loss. In our work together, I will utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you explore the thoughts, feelings, and emotions that are influencing your life. As a teen transitioning into young adulthood, you’re at a pivotal moment in life filled with change, uncertainty, and overwhelming emotions. My goal is to support you through this process by helping you uncover your best self, gain clarity, build confidence, set goals that align with your values, and learn to accept and embrace all aspects of who you are.

My Approach to Helping

My approach to counseling is comforting, non-judgmental, and goal-oriented. The type of therapy that I emphasize is a process of becoming whole – assessing all aspects of you as an individual. I believe that people have the means to make positive change in their lives when awareness is reached, goals are created, and consuming thoughts are reduced. I also believe that this type of change can occur most rapidly with the support of an empathetic, committed, and compassionate clinician. Additionally, I recognize that your experiences are shaped by a variety of factors, including societal influences, cultural and family backgrounds, gender roles, and the dynamics of your current relationships. My goal is to listen attentively and with an open heart, honoring your unique perspective and accepting you fully for who you are.
