My Ideal Client

Shannon has experience working with PTSD, childhood trauma, attachment issues, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain. She identifies as queer and has experience working with LGBTQIA2S+ individuals. Shannon is comfortable working with individuals from a variety of different cultural backgrounds and experiences. She approaches her work through a trauma-informed lens and with a sense of humility. She works with teenagers and adults.

My Approach to Helping

Shannon has a BA in Social Science and a Masters of Social Work degree from Portland State University. Shannon has experience working as a Massage Therapist which informs her interest and approach to working with trauma. She has experience working in community mental health with people experiencing severe and persistent mental illness and housing insecurity. Shannon is trained in EMDR, and is also trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

In her free time, Shannon loves comedy, little dogs, going on adventures, and being out in nature.
