My Ideal Client

As a licensed professional counselor, I enjoy working with a variety of diverse clients. I believe that the client is the expert of their own lives and my goal as a provider to is empower clients to learn skills to get closer to their own goals. I believe that the strongest engine of change is the rapport between client and clinician and I work diligently to foster space for us to work collaboratively. I am specifically trained in DBT, CBT, MI, CPS, and EFT. I look forward to working together.

My Approach to Helping

Therapy Approaches 1 Person Centered Therapy is a collaboration. I am a guide to help facilitate reflection, growth, and opportunity for change. You are the leader of the therapeutic process. 2 Motivational Interviewing Change is uncomfortable. Together we can explore what is keeping you feeling stuck and preventing you from living your most authentic life. 3 Mindful Only when we are fully present are we able to truly experience our lives. Therapy can help each of us tap into being present and aware of each current moment. 4 Unconditional Positive Regard I believe each person is doing the absolute best they can within their circumstances. I provide therapy from this deeply empathetic place.

My Approach to Helping

Life unfolds in complicated, beautiful, chaotic, and at times, immensely painful ways. As we make our way through, we often need support navigating the terrain of our inner world so that we can show up more fully to all that is happening in our outer world. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck or alone, then I’m glad you found your way here. I know from my own life experience that finding the right person to support you in your healing is both a vulnerable and important task. I feel honored to do this work and I am in awe of our ability as humans to accompany and support each other as we heal and grow. I have a background working in a variety of settings including PH/IOP, outpatient, emergency department, inpatient, and community based care. I also have experience working with a variety of different types of challenges including: depression, anxiety, grief & loss, family conflict, infertility, attachment, life transitions, parenting, self esteem, SI, eating disorder
