My Ideal Client

There are so many life conditions that bring suffering. Our power lies in how we react to what life brings. Often we try our best to cope, but find ourselves stuck in old patterns and behaviors that don't help. I work with people who want to learn about what they need, and grow their ability to cope and thrive in their lives. This includes people navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, grief, aging, and trauma-related issues.

My Approach to Helping

My belief is that each person has the ability to find their answers and to grow their capacity to navigate life’s challenges with courage and lead a fulfilling, connected life. My work is grounded in trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness, and creating a safe, compassionate relationship supporting personal growth and transformation. My approach honors that each of us is unique, and that no one therapy approach is right for everyone. I work with clients to discover what they need and how to best support them in healing and thriving in their lives.

I believe in the human capacity to change, grow and cope with the painful challenges that life brings. We all have needs and strengths. Mental health issues arise when our attempts to meet our needs bring more suffering. I believe that we can deepen our understanding of how to best meet our needs, further our strengths, and grow our ability to live meaningful lives.
