My Ideal Client

If you want to better understand yourself, explore what truly matters to you, and feel more confident about your direction in life, please reach out. Maybe you weren’t raised to notice your feelings or were so focused on meeting expectations that you lost sight of yourself. When emotional needs have been overlooked or dismissed for a long time, it can lead to anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, and self-neglect. Therapy can help you break these patterns and create meaningful change.

My Background and Approach

I bring over 20 years of experience to my clinical practice and advanced training in evidence-based approaches like EMDR, PACT, AEDP, ACT, DBT, CBT, ART, and CFT, among others. If your first thought is, “What are all these letters?”—you’re not alone. Therapy acronyms can feel like alphabet soup, but don’t worry. What truly matters is the relationship we build, and I believe that’s the key ingredient for meaningful change. I start by getting to know you, understanding your needs, and tailoring my approach to work for you. I studied Psychology and Spanish at the University of Notre Dame and earned two Master’s Degrees (MSW and MPA:HA). I’m passionate about continuous learning to ensure I provide the best therapy possible. My style is down-to-earth, collaborative, and interactive—with a touch of lightheartedness to keep things human.

My Values as a Therapist

I believe non-judgmental curiosity is a far better teacher than self-blame or shame. While harsh self-criticism may be the language many of us learned early on, I believe we can all gain fluency in self-compassion with the right support. I’m continually in awe of human resilience—time and again, I see people draw on their innate wisdom and strength to navigate life’s challenges. Though many of us are conditioned to disconnect from our inner resources, I believe it’s always possible to reconnect. With time, support, and practice, we can tap back into the well of strength and wisdom within ourselves.
