My professional practice encompasses addressing significant life stressors, including the challenges faced by aging parents, depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues, men’s concerns, and racial disparities.
My Approach to Helping
Adopting a non-judgmental and empathetic stance to facilitate the establishment of a therapeutic rapport. Engaging in conversations with unfamiliar individuals regarding personal matters can be challenging, and my intention is to create a sense of comfort and security by encouraging vulnerability.
Why I Became a Therapist
My decision to become a therapist stems from my personal experience of seeking a therapist early in my graduate school journey and encountering a limited representation of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) and LGBTQA+ individuals.
