My Ideal Client

Together, we can untangle: Relationship / Performance Anxiety; Struggle with Substance Abuse; Sense of Isolation; Moments when expectations crumble and dreams seem distant; Rekindling the fires of lost motivation; and Healing, with both tenderness and strength, from past traumas.

My Approach to Helping

Imagine stepping into a sanctuary of support, where your self-awareness and emotional insight can grow safely. You can expect open and honest dialogue in a climate of respect and collaboration. I utilize techniques from ACT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing to navigate our journey together. Consider our first session as the commencement of a meaningful therapeutic journey. My aim is to create a space where you feel at ease sharing your thoughts and concerns with me. Throughout our time together, we'll explore your current situation, delve into your history, and identify potential therapeutic goals. As we conclude our session, I'll check in to ensure your comfort with our partnership. Your questions, thoughts, and curiosities about therapy? They're treasures I cherish.

My Values as a Therapist

I value your time and resources and I’m eager to understand your therapy objectives. The treatment goals are set based on your interests, abilities, and strengths, and are measurable and achievable within specified timeframes. For the last five years, I have served my community’s most vulnerable populations: refugees, individuals with chemical dependence, domestic violence victims, and the LGBTQ+ community in Miami. My approach is culturally responsive and I welcome everyone. To my BIPOC community, non-native English speakers, those of all beautiful shapes and sizes, and individuals with disabilities — I see you, I hear you, and I'm here for you.
